» Message from the VPK Director
The preschool program at Esformes Hebrew Academy is focused on advancing all the developmental areas through a hands-on approach to learning. Through an emphasis on language and cognitive development, social skills, and a balance of both secular and Judaic concepts the children develop a strong foundation to help them succeed in the future.

Our main goal is to give your child a love for learning through the creation of an environment that will engage them and foster a positive experience.  Our school is a place where your child will learn by exploring and creating. They will play and grow in a safe environment, developing self-worth, confidence, manners, and social skills. We focus on the whole child and provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is geared for all levels and types of learners.

Our early childhood educators are facilitators of learning who guide children to make their own observations, predictions, hypothesize, develop problem solving skills, and become constructive members of a family community.

We would love it if you would come for a tour of our program. Please feel free to call and schedule a tour of our facility.

Sincerely,
  Laurie Broad

Area Information
Our school is located in the small Florida town of Ormond Beach, just north of Daytona Beach.  We are approximately half way between Jacksonville and Orlando, and we are the only Chabad Elementary and Middle School in Central Florida.

Volusia County is full of unique events and places that we take advantage of in our curriculum.  The Sunshine State often reminds people of the beach! Here, you can drive your car right onto the beach thanks to the history of beach racing.  The races have since moved out to the Daytona International Speedway, and the three notable races we host are: Daytona 500, Coke Zero 400, and the Rolex 24 Hour race.  Daytona also is home to two major motorcycle events: Bike Week in February and Biketoberfest in October.

Our school seizes every opportunity to teach and that starts with appreciating what is right around you!
