Student Life..pic2016.jpg

Education IS life! We are always surrounded by something that can teach us.

Here are some of the ways we encourage growth and learning...

Student Life at EHA is filled with our community! We offer a variety of clubs, extracurricular activities, community events, student-led conferences and many projects that extend outside the classroom.

Students make some decisions about the project, including how they work and what they create.

Students engage in a rigorous, extended process of asking questions, finding resources, and applying information.

Students make their project work public by explaining, displaying and/or presenting it to people beyond the classroom.

Open House

Open House for 2015 was a "Passport to Learning". We had a great time touring each classroom and stamping the passports of each student as they journeyed to an amazing price for 100% attendance. Parents learned about Differentiate Instruction, plans for the upcoming year and meet all the teachers and staff that would help mover our school from Good to Great!

End of the Year Celebration

Our End of the Year Celebration for 2014 was a fabulous school carnival. A generous donation from the Mamane family allowed us to provide a cookout, pony rides, bounce house, petting zoo and obstacle course for our families and students from PS-8th grade to enjoy. It was an amazing day of fun and fellowship!

Celebrating reading, writing, and literacy is the goal of any school! We give the parents and community a peek into our literacy education each year at our Reading & Writing Fair. Alongside the Fair, we hold the Scholastic Book Fair. This year (2012), the Reading and Writing Fair presented "A World Poetry Jam" where the kids presented, and we had local poets in to share with us.
